Culinary Education for Children

At Ambrosia Kitchen we welcome youth to learn and play in our kitchen. From middle school  to young adults we offer a wide selection of cooking classes and culinary experiences to cater  to schools, camps, after-school programs, homeschoolers, and youth organizations. We love teaching youth how to master & love the art and science  of cooking. Through our classes young chefs will learn basic and advanced kitchen skills and safety, explore fundamental techniques and most importantly, have fun creating while developing and eating delicious recipes.  Allergies? No worries, just give us a heads up so we can make the necessary adjustments so all may enjoy.

We currently work with the Southwest Peace Project’s afterschool program.  This is a product of the Launch of Philadelphia.  Students have learned how to make breakfast, lunch, and dinner from scratch and with whole food ingredients.  We visit Farmers Markets and restaurants and then recreate the recipes using ingredients purchased locally.

Are you In need of innovative culinary and food curriculums for your schools, programs and camps? We’ve got you covered. Send an email with your needs to programs@ambrosiakitchen.com.
