Courses & Testing

Ambrosia Food Group is invested in expanding the number of trained culinary and hospitality food service professionals in the City of Philadelphia and in the region. We offer quarterly courses as well as test administration on site at our Old City location. The curriculum for our course places the trainee in front of a series of real life situations that chef’s experience in the kitchen as a matter of preparation for work in the field.

Chef & Restaurateur Management

We work with chef’s, food entrepreneurs and restaurateurs on all aspects of their products and services to enhance the experience of their customer. Ambrosia’s services include:

  • menu creation
  • in-house staff training
  • front & back of the house staff training & development
  • chef marketing & management
  • chef placement & management
  • restaurant operations & execution overview
  • restaurant review by way of ‘mystery shopping’

In-House Chef Demonstrations & Courses

Ambrosia has a network traveling educators that will come to your site (school, human services program, living community, etc.) and teach cooking classes to your population. We incorporate culinary education and fun using a customized curriculum based on your needs. Our work in this area of in-house demonstrations and courses must be requested at least six weeks in advanced of the intended start date.
